Pan-grilled Mini fish with herbs

Easy and quick pan-grilled fish


Fresh catch of the day (any mini fish)
Olive oil
Fresh Dill(chopped)
Fresh Parsley (chopped)
Fresh Thyme (chopped)
Freshly squeezed lemon Juice


Make a few slits on the fish on both sides so that the seasoning is well distributed in the flesh

Season with salt, pepper and drizzle with olive oil

Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil and in a hot grill pan, (it is important for pan to be very hot as it seals the moisture inside the fish so that it does not becomes dry)
Place fish and and let it cook until the skin becomes golden and crispy (about 3 minutes on each side)

Sprinkle fresh herbs and a squeeze of fresh lemon on the hot fish.

You can serve with steamed rice, chutney, steamed veg or simply a salad.
